4. Dr. Dammando took the time to really explain the ultrasound (to check the rest of the body for tumors) before the eye removal and explained everything thoroughly.
This is a great place. They handled my puppy very well and answered all questions I had and even gave me some great tips for raising my puppy
3.My cat has iris freckles that started to spread and cover her iris. I’ve brought her to two different vets before Shore Haven and no other vets really brought up the urgency of seeing an eye specialist until I came here. I’m glad they pointed this out to me because after seeing the eye specialist in Wilton, CT we discovered we need to remove the eye due to iris melanoma.
2. They also performed a dental cleaning on my cat. They did a great job and gave me a competive price (I shopped around beforehand).
Clean, friendly and reassuring! This office/staff was amazing from my original call, to the visit and discharge. The staff explained everything to us in detail, pricing was as quoted, the Doctor called shortly after the surgery to update us on how successful the procedure was and on how our bunny was doing. No other services were forced upon us and our bunny is happy and healthy! Our family would recommend this office to any/all pet owners!

My puppy was spayed last week. I have used this practice for a very long time (previous Veterinary Assoc of East Haven). They are awesome and always make you feel reassured, not to mention they take excellent care of all of their patients! The new facility is just gorgeous, and the staff is incredible! Dr. Rife is the absolute best!
1. My first appointment they were able to fit my cat in for a checkup on the same day I called (I just dropped her off and picked her up after they squeezed her in).
Friendly and courteous staff from reception, to the techs and the doctors. Most importantly they made the correct diagnosis and got my pet well quickly.
